Description

Engineered for performance, the water cremation adopts the latest technology in water cremation. The pressurised process is a highly effective machine and cremation and produces excellent results.

Cadavers are carefully placed in caged containers before being loaded into the machine’s primary chamber. The machine is constructed from stainless steel. A heavy-duty latching system combined with a unique sealing capability ensures reliable water-tight sealing. A PLC system automates the cremation process; it preheats the chamber to the required temperature and gently recirculates water on a continuous basis to improve the performance of the unit.

Once complete, the unit is cooled and drained, down the remains are removed and dried from the system. These are then processed through the Addfield remains processor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Flame cremation utilises fossil fuels and intense heat to combust animals. Water cremation utilises only electricity as an energy source, it is generally seen as the greener alternative.

The cremation process takes six hours, consisting of a one-hour preheat time, a three-hour cremation time and a 1 hour drain/cool down and a 30-minute post-processing period (excluding drying).

The remains are typically less porous than flame cremation and subsequently will typically hold more weight. The remains also have to be dried separately before the water cremation process. They are also typically a lot brighter in whiteness compared to flame cremation.

The process provides exceptionally clean remains from the water cremation process. A by-product of the process is affluent water, which will require disposal in line with the local regulatory standards
